Aegor Rivers (Bittersteel)

A Great Bastard of King Aegon IV by Barba Bracken, half-brother to Daemon Blackfyre and lifelong sworn enemy of his other half-brother Brynden Rivers. He bore the Valyrian steel sword Bittersteel for which he was named; he fought beside Daemon on the Redgrass Field, escaped to Essos, and there founded the sellsword brotherhood called the Golden Company, pledged to put a Blackfyre back on the Iron Throne, which long outlived him.
