Aenar Targaryen (The Exile)

Lord of one of the forty dragonlord families of the Valyrian Freehold, and first Targaryen Lord of Dragonstone. Heeding the prophetic dreams of his daughter Daenys, he gathered his wives, slaves, treasures, and five dragons and quit Valyria for the bleak westernmost outpost of the Freehold twelve years before the Doom, the only dragonlord to escape the cataclysm with his line intact.
