A cousin of the lords of Casterly Rock through the line of Ser Jason Lannister, son of Ser Damon by his wife Ella of the Lannisters of Lannisport. He wed Lady Shiera of House Crakehall, who bore him a son, Lucion, and a daughter, Lanna. After Lord Tywin's murder in 300 AC, Queen Regent Cersei named Daven Warden of the West and made Damion castellan of Casterly Rock, leaving the seat of the Rock in his keeping while the queen's writ ran out of King's Landing.
