Dickon Tarly

Second son and fifth child of Lord Randyll Tarly and Lady Melessa Florent, born at Horn Hill some years after his elder brother Samwell and three sisters. A bold and vigorous youth in all the ways his brother was not, he became his father's chosen heir after Samwell was sent to the Wall. He rode south with the Tarly host in the War of the Five Kings as a squire to his father, and was later betrothed and then wed to Eleanor Mooton, heir to Maidenpool.
