A King of Winter from an age the maesters cannot date, remembered only because Redwyn the wandering knight is said to have ridden in his service. In Redwyn's writings — fragments of which survive at the Citadel — Dorren held his court while Redwyn went up into the high pinewoods and made battle with giants there, and farther north still traded songs and salt with the last of the children of the forest. Of Dorren himself nothing else is now known.
