Garmund Hightower

Third son of Lord Ormund Hightower of Oldtown by his first wife, brother to Lyonel and Martyn and to the Lady Bethany. During the Dance of the Dragons he was sent south to Highgarden as a page and cupbearer in the household of House Tyrell, where he served (by Munkun's reckoning, as a hostage in all but name) until the war's end and his brother Lyonel's reluctant accession to Lord Corlys Velaryon's peace. In the years after the Hour of the Wolf he was wed to the Lady Rhaena Targaryen, daughter of Prince Daemon and the Lady Laena Velaryon, and got upon her six daughters who in time married into half the great houses of the south.
