Lyanna Stark

Only daughter of Lord Rickard, betrothed to Robert Baratheon and reckoned a great beauty even in the wild northern style. Carried off (willingly or not, depending on the chronicler) by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen in 282 AC, the spark that lit Robert's Rebellion. Died in a bed of blood at the Tower of Joy in the Red Mountains of Dorne, with her brother Eddard at her side and a promise on her lips that he never repeated.
