The boy succeeded to Driftmark and the Velaryon seat, but his house's quarrel with the new king is not yet ended; though his uncle Aurane Waters won command of the royal fleet at King's Landing for a time, the Velaryon banners are still counted among Stannis Baratheon's supporters.
