Walton Stark

Elder son of Brandon the Boastful and Lord of Winterfell for less than a year. In 50 AC, when a band of exiled Kingsguard and Faith Militant raised the long, lonely rebellion of the Night's Watch against the lordship of Jaehaerys I, Walton called his banners and rode for the Wall. There he crushed the deserters in open battle, but the survivors fled north beyond the Wall, and Walton pursued them too far into the wildling country: he was ambushed in the snow and killed by giants. The lordship of Winterfell passed to his younger brother Alaric.
