A King of Winter named in the catalogue of statues in the crypt of Winterfell, called the Moon King by the singers for reasons no chronicle has preserved. Some at the Citadel hold that the byname reflects a long winter under uncommon moons, others that he was a king whose wits waxed and waned; none of them can prove it.
